Professional Removalists in Robina, Gold Coast

Houses, townhouse complexes and units across Robina QLD 4226. Two movers and a truck for $143 an hour (incl. GST). Packing and wrapping included. Open 24/7.

Robina was built to a plan, and moving here works best with one too. It was one of Australia's first master-planned communities. Today it mixes family houses, a large share of gated townhouse complexes, units near Robina Town Centre, and student and staff housing around Bond University. As professional removalists in Robina, we plan around the things that actually slow Robina moves down: complex gates, visitor-parking rules, body corporate moving guidelines and peak traffic on the M1. Our depot is at 14 Aspen Way, Arundel, about 18 km from Robina Town Centre by road (around 17–25 minutes depending on traffic). We confirm the call-out fee for your address before you book, so there are no surprises.

Robina's Mix of Homes

Source: ABS 2021 Census QuickStats, Robina (Qld), SAL32445.

Nearly a third of Robina homes are townhouses or semis, almost three times the Queensland share. In practice that means three common types of Robina move:

1. Townhouse complex moves. Gates, internal roads, allocated parking, two-storey layouts with internal stairs, and body corporate rules.
2. Family house moves in the established streets and lakeside pockets. These are bigger loads, with garages and outdoor furniture.
3. Unit and student moves around Robina Town Centre and Bond University. These are smaller loads, often on lease-end dates with tight timing.

Moving In or Out of a Robina Townhouse Complex

Complexes are where most of the avoidable delays happen. Before you book, check these with your body corporate or onsite manager, at both addresses if you're moving complex to complex:

• Moving hours and notice. Some complexes ask for notice before a move, or limit moves to certain hours or days.
• Truck access. Can a 6-tonne truck get through the gate and turn on the internal road? Is there a height limit on the entry? Is there a designated loading spot?
• Gate codes and remotes. Have the code or remote ready for the crew so the truck isn't waiting at the gate.
• Visitor parking. If the truck has to use visitor spaces, check whether there's a time limit or whether you need to book.
• Common-area protection. Some complexes ask removalists to protect walls, lifts or stairwells in shared areas.
• Bin day and landscaping crews. On bin day or when the gardeners are in, internal roads can be blocked. Pick another day if you can.

Send us what you find and we'll match the truck to the access. A smaller truck that can get to your door is often faster than a larger one parked at the gate.

What Professional Removalists in Robina Should Give You

Before you pay any deposit, a professional mover should give you:

• The rate and the rules in writing. Ours: $143/hr incl. GST for two movers and a truck, a 2-hour minimum ($286), $44 per flight of stairs, a compulsory call-out fee based on your suburb and distance from our Arundel depot, and extra charges for pianos, pool tables and marble items.
• The travel cost upfront. Robina is on the southern side of the Coast from our depot, so we confirm the Robina call-out fee before you book. You shouldn't find out what travel costs on the day.
• A clear packing scope. Packing and wrapping are included at no extra service charge with your booked move. Agree what's being packed and with what materials.
• The insurance position. We hold Public Liability insurance for property damage, subject to policy terms and exclusions. It is not Goods in Transit or all-items cover.
• Booking terms. A $100 deposit secures your date. Rescheduling has no change fee, subject to availability.
• A business you can verify. MOVE MATE MOVERS AND LOGISTICS PTY LTD, ABN 33 700 649 109, 14 Aspen Way, Arundel QLD 4214.

Units near Robina Town Centre

Some unit buildings around the Town Centre have lifts, basement parking and building managers. The same rules as a coastal high-rise apply: book the lift and check the clearance. Our high-rise moving guide explains what to ask.

Local Tips for Moving in Robina

• Event days at Robina Stadium. Major games and events bring heavy traffic and parking restrictions to the streets around the stadium. Check the event calendar before you pick a date.
• Robina Town Centre traffic. Weekends and late-night shopping make the roads around the Town Centre slow. If your route passes it, a morning start helps.
• School zones. Robina State School (Killarney Avenue) and Robina State High School (Investigator Drive) mean school-zone traffic on weekday mornings and afternoons.
• The M1 in peak hour. We drive down from Arundel, and the M1 is the obvious route. Peak-hour congestion affects every hourly move on the southern Gold Coast, so ask us about start times.
• Lakeside streets. Some streets around Robina's lakes are quiet cul-de-sacs with limited turning space. Tell us if a large truck may struggle.
